This is 2019 and the “Democratic Party” debates have taken place over the last couple of days (June 26-27). The general course of the “Democratic Party” has been extremely worrisome since it apparently only knows to go radical left from its already radical left position. However, with the candidates all calling “abortion up to the moment of birth” a constitutional right, it is time to be on high alert. Calling abortion a constitutional right is only the beginning of what else might be included down the road. If you think this is simply not possible, consider where we’ve come since Clinton’s “let’s make abortion legal and rare”. Not a single one of the so-called Democratic party candidates deserves the support of any thinking American.
Kevin Sorbo “Tells It Like It Is”
Kevin Sorbo, actor known for TV series Hercules and as the brilliantly played atheist professor in God’ Not Dead, has this to say about abortion:
“Secular humanists have made the word abortion sound like a woman’s right, synonymous with health care, female empowerment, standing for women’s issues, a choice, a solution; anything but the truth.
The truth is, however, abortion is the termination of life. It is just a euphemism for murder because the only reason to get an abortion is to avoid the potential of birth – a human birth.

We dress it up with “my body, my choice,” but it is still a life inside of a woman’s womb, and that life is still extinguished by the brutal procedure of abortion.
In some cases, disturbing the nest of a sea turtle and stealing its eggs is a crime punishable by years in prison and tremendous fines, but we have an entire industry in this nation devoted to the murder of unborn human beings. This is the new civil rights cause for our country. Barely a century after our grave and costly war against slavery, against depriving some human beings of their dignity and based solely on their skin color, we codified into law the right of the citizen to kill her progeny, based solely on its size and location, while unwittingly depriving herself of love that is pure and enduring.
This is the definition of evil, pure and simple.” Abortion=Murder. Harshly but truthfully put. Maybe not all of Hollywood’s dead either.
Trinity Sunday
Yesterday (June 16, 2019) was both Trinity Sunday and Father’s Day! There are a number of ways that the revealed truth of the Trinity, Three Persons in One, has been shown. I’ve my own favorite and here it is. This proof comes in two parts. Part I: “Do you not believe, that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? The words that I speak to you, I speak not of myself. But the Father who abideth in me, he doth the works.” [John 14:10] and Part II: “When he had said this, he breathed on them; and he said to them: Receive ye the Holy Ghost.” [John 20:22] (Quotes from Douay-Rheims Bible). Putting these two together clearly shows The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit are One Being having Three Persons.
The Shroud of Turin
There is much controversy regarding The Shroud of Turin. Is it an impression, even “photograph” of Jesus? Or is it of someone else? Whoever’s image it represents, it’s still on something material. And that material is subject to loss; witness the damage done by a fire that caused holes to be burnt in the cloth. Thus, it appears NOT to be indestructible. But does any of this matter? Assume it is an image of Jesus. Assume, as some think, it is even the moment of the beginning of His Resurrection. Will this convert anyone? Will not those who don’t believe dismiss it, find reasons why it can’t be? It’s highly improbable they would consider it an opportunity to believe. Will not those who think Jesus was a great prophet or great historical figure or great anything but God change their minds? Will not simply only the faithful be inspired, even awed? No, it doesn’t matter because what matters is the event of the Resurrection. That is the important thing and it IS indestructible!
